The Empire Dining Set is part of Whitecraft's "Weather-Mate" trademark that incorporates a design allowing specially processed Rattan and Wicker to be used in covered patios and porches. The rattan is treated in a 3 step process by first dipping the frames into an acrylic emulsion to seal every pore. Once the wicker has been woven over the frame, it is treated once again to form a flexible coating and moisture resistance over the entire piece. After curing, one last bath process is given to the furniture, which gives our wicker the durable finish, offering years of worry-free enjoyment.
